Before my Christmas break I was desperate to fly out of England. I had in my mind some concept that it would not be good enough if I stayed in the country. Fortunately, my sister knocked some sense into my narrow mind saying why not tour England first? I have to admit that I have had some love lost with this dingy old country, but I was willing to give it another go. First stop: London.
Just to give you a heads up, I am a huge football fan. Being in London only means two things: Arsenal and Chelsea. In simpler terms: Emirates Stadium and Stamford Bridge. In addition, I love tennis, which translates into Wimbledon All England Lawn Tennis Club. So below are lots of pictures of stadiums and a few of other London things that I have managed to fit in between those famous structures.
Other things I did included watching Wicked the musical. It was absolutely amazing and I suspect I might just have caught the musical bug. Sudden urge to watch as many as I can while I am still in this country.
London was great, interesting and still have many streets left to explore. I would love to go back again, I would love to stay in that great city.
Grilled Salmon in Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. The only decent picture I took there. |
